White House Christmas Tree from NC
I am so proud to be part of NC agriculture! It is the state's largest industry and we have a lot to be proud of, including yet another White House Christmas tree.
This year's Christmas tree is from Ashe County and was grown by the Estes family at Peak Farms, just outside of Jefferson, NC. The Estes family specialize in Frasier Firs and have won several awards over the years. The Estes also presented Laura Bush with a beautiful Christmas tree in 2008. You can watch a video of this on YouTube at

Congratulations Peak Farms!
